PHASE 3 & 5 UNDERWAY
Effective July 7, 2026.
In preparation for the start of Phase 5 landside demolition, a new construction fence line has been set. This perimeter provides clear demarcation for the next phase of construction and enhanced safety to the public from the new work zone while maintaining public boardwalk access and boater dock access.
In addition, the transplanting and boxing of substantial tree and shrub specimens continues. These mature plants will be nurtured until they are replanted into the final landscape plan.
FREE Parking remains available for up to 4 Hours inside the Dana Point Harbor Parking structure with Pedestrian Access to the Wharf.
PHASE 4 TO COMMENCE FALL 2026
Wind & Sea’s final day of business on the Wharf will be September 15, 2026 in preparation for Building 1 construction. Buildings 2-5 will follow for remaining Wharf retailers and restaurants with the final day of business on October 31, 2026.
Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching and Catalina Express will remain open and relocate to temporary trailers for uninterrupted business operations with excursions 7 days a week.

The class will prepare you to take control of the vessel in the event the operator is incapacitated and unable to command the ship. Covers many of the most critical areas of information, with basic knowledge and tools to get you back to the dock.Designed for people with little or no experience in operating a boat. Learn what your skipper should teach you.

Basics of Marine Radio

The VHF radio is one of the most important safety devices you have on a boat especially when you are in an emergency situation. This class will teach you how to operate a radio, may mayday calls, contact other vessels, get Coast Guard updates, use the DSC “red button”, as well as other electronic aids to boating.
