PHASE 3 PREPARATION UNDERWAY
Effective Jan. 5, 2026.
In preparation for the start of Phase 3 landside demolition, a new construction fence line has been set. This perimeter provides clear demarcation for the next phase of construction and enhanced safety to the public from the new work zone while maintaining public boardwalk access and boater dock access.
In addition, the transplanting and boxing of substantial tree and shrub specimens has been completed. These mature plants will be nurtured until they are replanted into the final landscape plan.
WHARF PARKING UPDATE
Effective Feb. 4, 2026.
An updated traffic flow for the Wharf parking lot is in effect. These revisions accommodate the approved Phase 3 fence line while new striping maintains compliance for Boater Permit parking accessibility. These modifications are provisioned in the approved Coastal Development Permit (CDP), Construction Phasing (CP) and Construction Management Parking Plan (CMPP).
Please continue to enjoy 4 Hours of Free Parking inside the new parking structure. Both customer and designated boater parking remain available. Pedestrian access to harbor shops, restaurants, docks and boardwalk remain available. Please proceed with caution and follow all posted signage.
FUEL DOCK TANK REPLACEMENT
Effective Dec. 3, 2025.
Bellingham Marine has mobilized at Puerto Place in the area near the Fuel Dock to complete the fuel tank replacement project. Please be advised that the fuel dock temporary tanks are now in service with fuel available.
The area remains an active construction site as Bellingham continues to work on the permanent fuel tank replacement.
